That time of year again has rolled around fast Christmas season is well and truly over and that always gets me in the mood to start planning a festival! Don’t get me wrong I’m still excited for fur coats and knee boots, but I can feel the summer vibes beginning to slowly creep in…
Latitude last year as usual was truly amazing it’s my favourite festival with such a chilled vibe and because there is no residents around there is no curfew so the party goes on until the early hours.
Highlights include The Maccabees who headlined the Friday night, Slaves who smashed the radio 6 tent and Michael Kiwanuka who soothed me on Sunday. Other highlights include the wine tour where you could sit and share a lovely bottle of wine with friends whilst watching the lake stage and of course festival noodles which are just the best.
This summer my family and I also visited West Acre Ford in Norfolk. The water was clear and the sun was shining we had a lovely picnic and a paddle in the ford. It was the perfect summer’s day and can’t wait to back this year! My boyfriend and I also took a weekend break in Brighton which was crazy. We didn’t realise when we booked it but there was a big mod weekend on which was great as we are both into the music and style of the mod culture. We will definitely be getting suited and booted to go again this year.
