Sissy’s bday in London

For my sister’s birthday we headed to London for the day. The first stop was Camden I always love the hustle and bustle of Camden there are always interesting people around and exciting places to visit. We walked around the market and inside the lock, after we went for lunch and then found ourselves in Covent garden. We squeezed ourselves off the tube and were greeted by Charlotte Tilbury (the store anyway) and thought it would be rude not to pop in.The shop it’s self has a very glamorous feel to it without being to pretentious. Swept up in all the glamour I ended up purchasing a matte revolution lipstick in the shade Glastonberry. It is one that I had seen online and once I caught a glimpse of it in store I had to have it.

I love a paper bag, especially when they are this cute.

Oxford st was our next stop with the Oxford st Lush being the no1 destination. For my sister who is an absolute lushie she was in heaven – two floors of heaven. There were baskets and barrels overrun with bath bombs and bubble bars. As we took our time looking around and smelling everything, our own basket slowly filled up. I ended buying the Humpty Dumpty egg, Sunflower bubble bar, Flutter by bubble bar,Ylang Song bath bomb and Down the Rabbit Hole bubble bar.

Down the Rabbit Hole

We also got lost in the massive Topshop which is just my favourite place ever, I absolutely love the accessories floor and treated myself to a few bits in their including another lipstick in a lilac colour called Orchid and a white top with crochet heart detail (so pretty) After our purses were empty and mouths were dry we headed back to kings cross for a coffee and the train. Once on the train we decided we didn’t want the day to end and so as soon as we got home we got ready and headed out for some cocktails. of course wearing our new buys!
